Gold St. Movie Club - One Sheet

Taking classic and well-loved movies and combining them with the best night at a pub.

We partner with venues to screen cult classic films paired with food, prizes, games and more to create a night to remember. We have been running mid-size movie nights since 2023 with audiences of between 50-70pax depending on the venue, with a majority of our events selling out before doors open.

We have amassed a loyal audience base with many people returning every time we hold a new screening and some even coming despite having not seen the film or knowing anything about it.

Our goal as promotors is to supplement a venues weekly crowds by holding events on nights that aren't as busy - usually Thursdays or Sundays

Our goal as a brand is to provide people with unique and memorable movie experiences that they can share with friends, a date or even the whole family.

We operate on an even split of costs and returns.
As promotors, we cover the cost of licensing the films, games, decorations and prizes and we take all ticket sales.
As a venue, you cover the costs of food and drink and keep all money from the bar.
This is how we have run every event to date and find it's the cleanest and best for both parties but we are open to discussing specific arrangements with you as well.

Read below to see how we do this and get in touch if it sounds like something you would like to do.

Thanks so much,
Elly and Paddy at Gold St. Press

Here's some nice things previous venues have said about our Movie Clubs.

"Can we do this every night?"

Themed Food and Drink

We partner with the venue's kitchen to craft food and drink the matches the film we are playing. If the audience see's food on screen, we do our best to replicate that on the menu to create a fully immersive experience.

Games and Prizes

While our audience watches the film, they can play along with specially designed bingo and other games that focus on the fun, silly and memorable moments of cult classic films.

We also run lucky door prizes, parlour games and costume comps all based on the specific film.

Decorations and Mood Setting

To set the scene as soon as the audience enters the venue, we decorate to suit the mood. Similar to a haunted house, we want the crowd to be fully immersed in the vibe of the film they're about to watch.
